Four things to get right

1/4 W1/4 W
  1. 1

    Clear space

Keep a clear space of at least 1/4 of the badge width on every side. No text, logos or image edges inside it.

  2. 2

    Minimum size

At least 80 px wide on screen and 20 mm wide in print, so the wording stays readable.

  3. 3

    Colour and background

Navy badge on light backgrounds, white badge on dark ones. Always full colour, never greyscale.

  4. 4

    Year and validity

Certification lasts 12 months. Use the badge with your year on it, and retire it when it expires unless you re-certify.

Please don't

Stretch or squash it
Rotate or tilt it
Change its colours
Make it greyscale
Place it on a clashing background
Crop or cut it off

Also avoid shadows, outlines or effects, editing the wording on the badge, or using an expired year.

Make the badge worth clicking

A logo on its own gets ignored. A badge with a clear invitation takes candidates straight to the proof of why you were certified.

A badge alone

Reads as decoration, with no reason to click.

A badge that links
